About

The Lawster aims to interpret and discuss International legal issues, whilst also providing useful advice for students aiming to break into a Law related field of work. The website will also act as a way to connect with fellow law students, in order to share answers and opinions, as well as providing useful advice on topics such as studying law, revising for exams, saving money, writing a Curriculum Vitae, staying motivated whilst studying and where to find the best resources for studying Law.

On top of becoming a recognised source of useful information for law students, The Lawster also aims to build a community of law students and legal professionals who can contribute to the website. The goal is to create a legal community where people can discuss past or present legal issues and cases, as well as seek help in education or when looking for employment.

The creator and main author of The Lawster is Natalie M. Wolverson, who is currently a first year law student at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. Born in Wolverhampton, England, she moved to the Netherlands at the age of 17 with the intention of studying at university. She spent just under a year studying at Hanze, Groningen, before applying to study law at the University of Groningen. She is currently enrolled in the first year of an LLB program, studying International and European Law, which is a three year bachelor degree course.

I have a strong passion for law and I would love to work as a legal professional or lawyer for a large law firm within the next six years. My aim is to complete my law degree and become a recognisable legal professional. I chose to study law because of its challenging and competitive nature, but also because of the important role that the law plays in society.

In my spare time away from studying I enjoy reading, writing and photography. The Lawster will act as a way for me to write down my thoughts and feelings, as well as to provide what I hope to be useful information for people who are also interested in debates and legal  affairs.
